For the Cowboys, it was another failed attempt by the team to upgrade a position of need this offseason. Dallas EVP Stephen Jones was asked about the team’s interest in the veteran wide receiver and gave a surprising response about the team’s WR unit.
“Anytime you got a chance to add a pro, you look at it and see,” Jones said (h/t ESPN’s Todd Archer). “But we like our group. If we think somebody can improve us, we’ll take a look at it.
