Not the NFL's best linebacker? Darius Leonard can't wait to prove Aaron Rodgers wrong

INDIANAPOLIS — Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

Aaron Rodgers didn’t know it then, but two weeks ago in San Francisco, he set a time bomb with a countdown to 4:25 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

When the Green Bay Packers quarterback told 49ers linebacker Fred Warner he was the best linebacker in football, he probably didn’t think of it as a slight of Darius Leonard. But Rodgers hasn’t met Leonard. He doesn’t understand the mind of “The Maniac.” He didn't know that some 2,000 miles away, Leonard was listening. He always is.
