The Bradenton Marauders played a three hour and four minute game last Tuesday, winning against Fort Myers by a score of 13-9.
In those three hours, Charles McAdoo stepped up to the plate six times. The 2023 13th rounder out of San Jose State delivered a hit in all six plate appearances, including two home runs and eight RBIs.
McAdoo was playing against easier competition than he faced in college. Still, take a second to consider the difficulty of what he accomplished. The game of baseball doesn’t allow McAdoo to get into a flow state and knock out all six hits in the span of 10 minutes.
