Local vendors sell sacrilegious Dodgers shirts outside SF Giants game

Peddling bootleg merchandise outside sporting events is a hustle built on trying to get as many potential customers as possible, even if that means hawking shirts that combine locally despised SoCal teams with locally beloved NorCal slang.

Among the unlicensed shirts fans could buy ahead of the Giants-Dodgers game at Oracle Park were ones that read “Hella Giants.” But fans could also get shirts that read “Hella Dodgers” across the chest. In one way, it makes sense as the NL West rivals kick off a three-game series in San Francisco on Monday. Why limit sales to only home fans, especially when visiting Los Angeles fans are expected to take over?
