Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer doesn't seem threatened that his team used the No. 13 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft on Brock Bowers, who plays the same position.
Instead, he's "excited" to team up with the Georgia product.
"Our job is to win ball games," Mayer said Saturday during a conversation with Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "As an offense, we need to score touchdowns. And that's what we're going to do to the best of our ability. … We got a lot of weapons. I'm excited, I already met Brock, been practicing with Brock for a week.
